ASKPC lambasts Central Govt

JAMMU, Feb 9: Terming the reply of Central Government on establishment of separate colonies in the Valley, for displaced Kashmiri Pandits, as preposterous, advocate Ravinder Raina, president ASKPC, lambasted the Central Government for its ambiguous approach towards the resettlement of the displaced community in their place of birth.
In a statement issued here today he questioned the policy makers for their insensitive approach towards the issue and expressed dismay over the fact that the miniscule hapless minority community would be annihilated in no time if it is asked to return to their original places in Valley where the separatists and secessionist elements rule roost who have since rejected the pluralism.
The KPs would only be safe in the Valley if separate colonies were established. Pointing towards the plight of the employees appointed under the PM’s special package during the last year’s unrest, advocate Ravinder Raina urged the PM  Narendra Modi to take a decisive initiative on the resettlement issue, in keeping with his bold approach.
Reacting to the so called statement of a Pak sponsored militant leader, president ASKPC, pointed out that Kashmiri Pandits are the lawful original residents of Kashmir and need not to get directives from misguided people on their return to the valley. Pandits shall return back to their homeland with dignity and on their own terms and conditions. He pointed out to the militant leader to introspect and feel shameful on the stone throwing incidents on the peaceful resettled employees residing in various transit camps in Kashmir, during the last Summer unrest. Urging him to accept the reality of what they have done to Kashmiri people, he was advised to renounce violent means and not be dictated by the fanatics across the border.
