ASKPC asks Govt to clear stand on migrants rehabilitation

JAMMU, Feb 20: An Executive Body meeting  of  All State Kashmiri Pandits Conference (ASKPC) was  held  under  the  chairmanship  of  its  president  Advocate Ravinder Raina with  regard to fresh  registration of political activists  of  various  organizations  of the Valley.
Addressing  the  meeting Raina  pointed out that  J&K Assembly at  one hand  passed a  resolution  for  safe return of Kashmiri Pandits with  honour  and  dignity  to the  Valley but  on the other  hand  decided  fresh  registration of  political  activities  of  the  Valley .
He  said  if  the  motivated decision of  the  Government to  benefits  the activist  who  are  engaged  in threatening  the displaced  community  for their  return in the Valley .He  said  that  State  Government has proposed in settling of Muslim migrant employees  and others  in temporary  transit  camps being  constructed in the  Valley under Prime Minister Packages Kashmiri Pandit employee. Taking serious view of  the  decision  it  was pointed  out  that  such an exercises would  create  confusion and insecurity among  the Kashmiri Pandit employee  being posted in the  Valley.
However appeal was made to both State and Centre  Government  not  to move any  such exercise  which may  create chaos  and  confusion among  the peace  loving people. He  also  said  that displaced  community is  ready  for  return  to the  Valley  if  they are settled  at  one place under fool proof security  and  free  flow  of Indian Constitution.
The  meeting  also  appealed to Government.  to release monthly  relief and ration  to  the migrants  at  an earliest keeping  in view  the festival  of  Mahashivratri.
