DODA, Jan 23: Five cops including one Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) received injuries, when the Tata 407 vehicle they were travelling in, rolled down into gorge near Shalla, falling under the jurisdiction of Gandoh police station.
As per police sources, a police vehicle, which was on its way to Gandoh from Gowari, rolled down near Shalla Gowari, resulting into injuries to five police cops including one ASI.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub-District Hospital Gandoh, from where one of the injured cop identified as SPO Shah Nawaz has been referred to District Hospital for advanced treatment.
The other injured persons have been identified as ASI Ram Parsad, SPO Rakesh (driver), SPO Imtiaz Hussain and SPO Jaswant Singh.
Gandoh police has taken cognizance in this regard.
