RAJOURI, Apr 16: Ex-MLA and Coordinator, All India Congress Committee, today demanded the J&K Government to order either CBI or judicial probe into alleged Rs 10, 000 crore flood relief scam.
Sharma said though thousands of crore of rupees were sanctioned under the Flood Relief Package and an additional package in 2014, yet Government and the concerned authorities failed to construct and restore Androla bridge, which was washed away during 2014 floods.
He said that over 15000 people have been affected due to non-restoration of the bridge, which is considered as the lifeline of the areas like Kardenue, Androla, Chakli, Dogani, Kha, Kherdenu, Potha, Pata, Godar, Kaller, Dhanwan, Barian, Loorkote, Dhanwakote and Chetyar.
The Ex-MLA said that Government should present white paper showing the details of the expenditure of flood relief package and unspent money and at the same time order either a CBI or judicial probe into alleged Rs 10,000 flood relief scam.
