MUMBAI, Feb 20: Eminent film maker Prakash Jha has appointed media and entertainment veteran Ashish Kaul, as CEO (Television & Digital business).
Prakash Jha Productions is a globally renowned film and television production company with 8 National Awards. Ashish Kaul has moved from Hinduja Group where he was Business Head for IN Entertainment India Limited, the digital cable broadcasting and content business of Hinduja Group.
Prakash Jha Productions is a brand incorporated by Prakash Jha, to take his unique brand – Cinema with Power – forward. Prakash Jha Productions has been synonymous with the production of quality films for over twenty years. Encompassing multiple award winning films, Prakash Jha is known nationally and internationally for his critically acclaimed and popular films including Amitabh Bachchan Starters SatyaGraha and Aarakshan besides Raajneeti, Apaharan, Gangaajal, Mrityudand, Parinati and Damul.
The company also has several award-winning documentaries like Sonal, Faces After The Storm, Kudiattam, and Looking Back to its credit. Other feature productions include Rahul (2001), Dil Kya Kare (1999) and Hip Hip Hurray (1983).
Ashish Kaul has over 23 years of experience in leadership roles across managing businesses across entertainment, news, ITES, Retail and Consumer Goods. Ashish was also the CEO for Association of Motion Pictures and TV Programme Producers in India.
