Aryans to conduct JK Scholarship Test

JAMMU, Feb 22: To assist  the talented students of Jammu and Kashmir with scholarship benefits for their higher studies, Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges has decided to conduct a special Scholarship Test for 10th, 12th and graduate passed out/passing out students. The test would be conducted in the month of March, 2017 for which the online registration has already been started on Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in. For any query students can also call of Aryans Scholarship helpline number 1800-30000-388.
This was informed by Mangal Singh, Media Coordinator, Aryans Group, while addressing a press conference, here today. He said that the   number of scholarships has double from 100 to 200 for 2017-18 session considering the prolonged unrest in the Valley. “This scholarship test would set the parameter for the eligibility of students for the scholarship” he added.
Mangal further said that the students, who would clarify the test would be enrolled under Aryans JK Scholarship scheme in which 50 percent scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50 percent will be financed in the shape of education loan. Eligible candidates can avail the scholarship benefit in various courses running at Aryans including B  Tech, LLB, BA-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, B Com, B Ed, GNM, ANM, Diploma, B Sc (Agri), BA etc. The test would also look forward to spread awareness about various other scholarship schemes including PMSSS, MOMA, PMS etc to JK students.
Taranbir Singh, Admission Coordinator, Aryans Group,  further informed  that the Aryans has become the 1st choice of Kashmiri students. With around 350 new students admitted in 2016-17 the number of Jammu & Kashmir students studying at Aryans has touched 1350. He further said that apart from academics, safe and homely environment at Aryans pulls JK students towards itself.
Faaiz, Coordinator, Aryans Group,  said that through this test, they  would be able to access and identify the meritorious, needy and deserving students who have marks but no means and are further willing to attain their higher education.
Imtiyaaz Ahmad, Coordinator, Aryans Group,  added that other information regarding the test including date, time, venue, mode of test etc would be soon announced on Aryans website or by SMS to the registered candidates.
