Aryans double scholarships for 2017-18 session for J&K students

JAMMU, Jan 12: Giving much relief, benefits and considering the prolonged unrest in J&K, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has extended its scholarship scheme for 2017-18 and has decided to double the number of scholarship from 100 to 200 particularly for its 11th Batch for J&K students.
Mangal Singh, Media Coordinator, Aryans Group while addressing a press conference organized today at press club of Jammu said that the scholarship will be given to meritorious 100 girls and 100 boys in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan.
He said that due to prolonged unrest in the Valley during the previous academic session most of the students couldn’t get admission nor came out from the Valley for their studies and therefore to compensate the loss bore by these students Aryans has doubled the number of scholarships to be given for the year 2017-18. “Interested students can give a missed call on 1800-30000-388 or visit Aryans website www.aryans.edu.in”, he added.
Jaswinder Singh, Coordinator, JK Admissions, Aryans Group added that Aryans has become the 1st choice of J&K students near Chandigarh where majority of students from various parts of J&K are studying in different courses.
With around 350 new students admitted in 2016-17 the number of J&K students studying at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh has touched 1350 of around 2600 students in total studying at Aryans Campus.
Pankaj, Head Admissions, J&K, Aryans Group said that Aryans was started in the year 2007 and admitted students from various parts of J&K also. The students of 1st batch bagged top positions and placed in good companies also. After that Aryans become the spot of Kashmiri students because of its peace and homely environment.
