Aryans College of Law to start B Com, LLB 5 years course

JAMMU, June 20: Director, Aryans Group Prof BS Sidhu said that the approval process from Bar Council of India, New Delhi and affiliation process from Punjabi University, Patiala is already under progress for 120 seats and would be completed in June.
The candidates passing 12th exam from recognized board are eligible for this 5 years course, he added.
Sidhu further said that the course would be started keeping in mind the need, interest and demand of the legal education of the students of the Chandigarh and nearby areas. Sidhu added that 5 years B Com and LLB program saves 1 precious academic year of a student.
He said that in CLAT 2018, around 58000 students appeared for 2300 seats in 19 National Universities of Law in India and in 5 years Law Entrance Test conducted by Punjab University on June 7, around 5300 students appeared for 360 seats. Hence the number of students opting for law courses has increased from last year, he informed.
“Candidates having a strong hand in commerce can specialize in their work as legal practitioners, legal officers, human resource manager, business consultant, management accountant, advocate/lawyer, attorney general, law reporter, deputy legal advisor, assistant advisor, law officer and public prosecutor”, he stated.
