JAMMU, Jan 15: Ace peddler of Jammu and Kashmir, Aryan Mahajan bagged 3rd place in the prestigious 4th Aurora Cup-2017, which concluded at Vaughan Athletic Center in Aurora, IL in USA, today.
The 3-day Tournament was held from January 13, 2017.
Aryan played Peidi Gu and won by 3-1 and got better of Matt Stockhamand to win by 3-0 and advanced into quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinals, Aryan defeated Rajat Parkash by 3-2, while in the semifinals, Aryan lost to Vadim Korneev by 2-3.
The star player defeated Rimvydas Rakuskas by 3-0 to claim 3rd place in the Tournament.
The 1st place was bagged by Chad Dammar, while the 2nd place went to Vadim Korneev and the 3rd place to Aryan.
This was a 4 start tournament sanctioned by USATT and was sponsored by Joola.
