RAJOURI, July 11: Going strict against the traffic violators, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Rajouri, Neeraj Sharma has suspended five route permits of the vehicles for over loading.
The ARTO told our Correspondent that in the month of June, 58 vehicles were challaned while another 53 were compounded and an amount of Rs. 145300 was collected from the traffic violators as fine.
The officer has advised the public to follow traffic rules strictly and instructed the two wheeler riders to wear helmet and avoid rash driving.
He also asked the commercial vehicles to avoid overloading.
