Art Wanderers holds 2nd Exhibition in Delhi

JAMMU, Oct 12: Art Wanderers organized a wonderful Art Exhibition in Delhi which was inaugurated by Commodore (retd) D.S.Sodhi. Utpal Kaul, expert on Kashmir history and monuments presided over the function. The function in the capital of the India attracted a variety of art lovers from different walks of life. The exhibition was devoted to the spirit of Kashmir.
Chushool Mahaldar the Central activist of the Art Wanderers said that a group of artists comprising painters, sculptures, poets came together some months ago and in September 2017 they held their first art exhibition in Delhi and Srinagar which was received with warmth by the art lovers. The endeavour of each artist is to display the diverse facets of the society so as to institutionalize the various art forms.
He said this is our 2nd exhibition which has the essence of Saffron fields of Kashmir showcased through different genres. Each individual artist strives to focus his work on and around the theme with his or her multifarious art works to highlight the unique flavor of Kashmir with an allegorical reference to the world famous Saffron. Our focus remains to converge on: “Recreating Zaffran: Kashmir revisited”
Artists participating this year included JK Mirza, Chushool Mahaldar, Vinod Kaul, Neeru Monga, Ashutosh Sapru, Rajni Khazanchi & Neeraj Raina all painters while Renu Anand is a sculptor & Bhupendra is a poet. The Exhibition which started from Oct 5 concluded today at AIFACS Art Gallery B at 1Rafi Marg , New Delhi 110001.
“We plan to take this idea and Exhibition to the J&K State as well besides various cities of India.”
