Art of Living conducts workshops on ‘Excellence at Workplace’

JAMMU, Jan 29: Art of Living conducted workshops under “I Excel I Lead” programmes on the theme ‘Excellence at Workplace” at Jammu and Kathua for business leaders, entrepreneurs, senior, middle management and staff of private and public sector and professionals of top business houses.
The purpose of these workshops was to infuse a culture of excellence and leadership in human resource. The corporate workshops were conducted simultaneously at 20 locations Pan Asia with over 1000 plus participants including Middle East countries from January 27 to 29.
All this was done so that the businesses are done with ethics and each leader inspires many others.
The course was attended by scores of business professionals and staff at Saraswati Agro Company Ltd, Jammu and Gravity Club, Kathua.
Sumedha Talwar, Senior faculty from AOL conducted 14 hours 3 day sessions of “I Lead I Drive” workshop under IEIL and trained 31 participants of middle management and staff at Jammu, while Sunil Gambhir, Senior AOL faculty took sessions of programme “I Lead I Integrate” under IEIL exclusively for middle management with participation of 19 corporate in Kathua for attaining the aforesaid skills.
The key highlights of the programme were to give insight to cope with uncertainties, challenges and building organisational capabilities. Practical wisdom towards inspirational leadership to understand human psyche was also attributed. Skills for handling teams and effective communication with tenets for creating ambiance of excellence at workplace were also taught which was reflected when participants shared wonderful experiences they gained from such workshops.
Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shanker also addressed participants through a Live Webcast on January 28 and answered their queries.
Delair Singh, DTC, Meenu Bandral, Anu Gujral and faculty from AOL Jammu assisted the workshop at Jammu, while Sudha assisted the workshop at Kathua.
The organisers present were Member Apex North for AOL Vikram Gujral, Ajay Kapoor, State Media Coordinator at Jammu and AK Katyal at Kathua along with senior management of Saraswati Agro Company Limited, BR Pesticides Private Limited and RK Grinding Private Limited.
The participants were also made to learn Sudershan Kriya, which is evolved by Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of The Art of Living and is a powerful breathing technique to harmonize the body, the mind and the spirit.
