Arrangements finalized for Chhari Mubarak to Purmandal

JAMMU, Mar 14: A combined meeting of Purmandal/ Utterbehni Shrines Development Committee, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar and Dogra Sadar Sabha, J&K,  was held under the chairmanship of Th Gulchain Singh Charak, at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple complex in which, besides, office bearers and members of these  organizations, other prominent persons from district Samba and Dharmarth Trust J&K also participated.
The whole arrangements for the grand success of Chhari Mubarak Yatra to Purmandal/Utterbehni to be organized on the Chettar Chaturdashi falling on March, 27, 2017, were discussed and several decisions taken which included Performing Chhari Puja at Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir, Parade Jammu.  On 27th of March, 2017 after performing Puja at Shri Raghunath Ji Mandir, at 08:00 am Holy Chharies will be taken to Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Then at 08:30 am after performing the Grand Puja Archna at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, the “Holy Chharies” will be taken in a beautifully decorated “Rath” in a grand procession to Purmandal Shrines via Shri Mahadev Mandir-Gandhi Nagar, Shiv Mandir- Trikuta Nagar, Shiv Mandir- Greater Kailash, “Data Ranpat Dev Ji” Mandir and Shri Raghunath Ji temple, Birpur.
A grand reception will also be organized by the people from all Shades and Religions at Kharah-Madna, Mandal and other places enroute.
On reaching Purmandal Shrines a special Puja Archena will be performed in the historical Shiv temple there followed by three days Purmandal/Utterbehni fair at the famous and historic pilgrim-centres of Duggar Pardesh to be culminated on the first Navratra falling on 29th of March, 2017.
They appealed to all the devotes to join this historical Yatra and have blessings of Lord Shiva. They also urged upon the administration to ensure proper transport and other arrangements including the security of the public at all the Shrines and enroute.
Prominent among others who participated in the deliberations were S P Arora, Pushap Raj Sharma, Romesh Thakur, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Capt Shankar Singh, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Shiv Kumar Singh, Prashant Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Shiv Charan Singh, Gulshan Kumar Bali, Chhankar Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Ashok Kumar Khajuria, Yashpal Sharma, Tarun Gupta, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Ganesh Sharma, Yash Paul, Suresh Sharma, Govind Ram Sharma, Hem Raj Sharma and Bam Dev Sharma.
