Around dozen persons booked for assaulting family, dismantling kacha house

RAJOURI, July 26: Around dozen persons were booked for assaulting a poor family and dismantling their ‘kacha’ house.
According to Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Thannamandi, DySP Surjeet Bhagat, a woman namely Razia Begum, wife of Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of Danna Hasplote village of Thannamandi lodged a complaint with police station Thannamandi that some persons attacked her family and also dismantled her kacha house.
Accordingly a case under FIR 103/14 under Section 452, 382, 354, 147, 427 and 327 RPC was registered and investigation started, SDPO added.
“Twelve persons including Mushtaq Ahmed and Mohammad Issaq, sons of Atta Mohammad, resident of Danna have been booked”, he said, adding that all are evading arrest and will be behind the bars soon.
