Army saves life

Srinagar, Jan 24:Army troops today donated blood in Baramulla hospital to save life of a patient who was in need of blood.
“Today at 4 pm a whatsapp message was received by the Baramulla based Army camp from District Hospital Baramulla requesting for the rare blood group B-ve to save life of one of the lady patient who had to undergo caesarean surgery”, Army said here.
“The soldiers of Baramulla based Army camp reacted promptly and donated blood for transfusion thereby saving life of Dilshada resident of Bijama, District Uri. The Hospital administration and member of the patient’s family thanked the Army for this kind gesture”, the Army added.
