Army provides free education to underprivileged students

Srinagar, Mar 16: Army today said that under the free education scholarship scheme, it is providing free education to nearly 120 underprivileged students at Army Goodwill School Wuzur.
An Army spokesperson said: “With the aim of making a fruitful contribution towards a better state and to bring effective and positive changes a noble initiative is being undertaken by the Army to help the underprivileged students of society.”
He said under the free education scholarship scheme of Army, 120 students are being provided with complete free education at Army Goodwill School Wuzur.
He further said that In line with this initiative, Army camp based at Wuzur distributed stationery items, school bags, books and complete set of uniform and shoes. “Army has made an effort to provide free education items to 30 aspiring students from the age group of   4-14 years to assist them in pursuing their studies”, he said.
He said the other star achievers of Army Goodwill School Wuzur were also facilitated by Army in order to motivate and encourage them to keep excelling in future too.
