Army provides computer accessories, sports kits to students

JAMMU, Nov 28: Under the Sadbhavana initiative, Shamwan Battalion of Crossed Swords Division, distributed two UPS, two Printers, Inverter with Battery for Computer and Sports kit for girl students (one set Chess, one set Volleyball, one set Carom board, and one set Cricket kit) and one Water Purifier to Government Girls High School, Pallanwala.
Speaking on the occasion, Balwan Singh Bhou, Headmaster Govt Girls High School, Pallanwala, appreciated the gesture of Army of understanding the needs of students in the remote village and said that it would go a long way in equipping the young children to do well in their life.
The concern of the Indian Army was appreciated by the School authorities, parents and locals. Apart from the Headmaster, the event was attended by Swarn Singh, Sarpanch and Surinder Kumar, Zonal Education Officer.
