Kishtwar, Apr 19: Army organized Volleyball Tournam-ent for the youth of village Chingam in Kishtwar.
The event was to promote sports amongst youth of the area.
A total of four teams participated in the Competition and the final match was played between Watsar and Chingam.
The winners and runners-up teams were awarded prizes by the SDM Chhatru at an impressive award ceremony attended by locals of Chingam and nearby areas in large numbers. The locals at the Prize Distribution Ceremony appreciated the efforts of the Army for promoting sports in the area which they said goes a long way in ensuring all round development of the younger generation.
