Army organizes medical camps

JAMMU, Oct 30: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Romeo Force, organized a medical camp in a border village Baisali of Rajouri district, today.
The camp witnessed an attendance of around 135 people from the adjoining areas and 55 students of nearest Government Middle/Primary Schools.
During the camp, doctors from Military and Civil Health Department attended to the patients and free vaccination and medicines were provided to the patients.
Meanwhile, Indian Army at Shyok Axis, Ladakh organized a free Medical and Veterinary Camp in the interior village of Pachathang as part of Sadbhavna initiatives, today.
The medical team consisted of two Army doctors and one civil doctor who attended to the ill patients and administered free medicines and performed minor surgeries.
The camp benefited more than 250 patients including children and old people.
