Army organizes medical camp in Tangmarg

SRINAGAR, Mar 21: Army organized a medical camp and distributed sewing machines among women in Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district today.
An Army spokesman said the medical camp was organized at Government Boys High School, Ferozpura and sewing machines were distributed to needy and deserving women of nearby villages of Tangmarg region. “A total of 450 patients were examined and given advice. Free medicines were also distributed during the camp among the needy patients. Sewing machines were distributed so that poor women could be able to earn their livelihood with dignity,” he said.
The spokesman said that an Ex-serviceman meet was also organized where a grievances redressal cell was established which patiently listened to the problems of ex-servicemen and assured that the issues highlighted will be projected at the appropriate levels to get desired solutions for benefit of all.
