SRINAGAR, Mar 18: Army organized a career counseling and awareness program at Government High School Lassipora in Pulwama district today.
An Army spokesman said the motto of the event was “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” and about 500 students from local Middle school, Government High School and Mehboob ul Alam School, Lassipora were enlightened about the future prospects in life by counselors from the Center for Career Planning and Counseling (CCPC), University of Kashmir.
Seizing the opportunity of the large number of youth gathered, a cleanliness and maintenance drive was also conducted in the schools.
