Army organises medical camp

Srinagar, Dec 31: Army today said over 200 people benefited from a medical camp organized at Larnoo in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A defence spokesman said a team of doctors from the Army in Larikpura took part in the medical camp during which consultations, treatment and medicines were provided to over 200 beneficiaries of Larnoo and its adjacent villages.
“The Army doctor examined patients of various age group including elders and children. The patients mostly suffered from Upper Respiratory Tract Infections and traumas due to occupational hazards as most of them were menial workers. Locals were happy to get essential healthcare and medical assistances,” the defence spokesman added.
