Army officer among 3 injured

Srinagar, July 8: Three soldiers, including an officer were wounded in a militant attack in Bandipora district of North Kashmir early today.
Militants this morning ambushed an Army patrol party near Army Goodwill School in Hajin area of Bandipora district. The attack took place at around 3 am  on an Army patrol.
Three Army men of 13 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) were injured in the ambush. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment. They have been identified as Captain Parveen, Sepoy Brijesh Lal Bahadur and Sepoy Ramesh Kumar.
Army immediately cordoned off the area to nab the militants but they took advantage of the darkness and escaped.
