Samba, Jan 8: An Army jawan was killed in a gun fire during guard duty in Samba here today.
The jawan has been identified as Harnam Singh, son of Inder Singh, resident of Pantilla village in Samba. He was serving in DSC and presently posted at Army Ammunition Depot near Mansar Morh in Samba.
A police spokes person said that it is matter of investigation whether Harnam shot himself or died of an accidental fire. A case has been registered and investigations.
