JAMMU, Jan 5: An Army Jawan died of electrocution in Nagrota area on the outskirts of Jammu city.
According to a police spokesman, Lance Naik Daleep suffered an electric shock during some repair work of an electric inverter at Army camp in Nagrota last night.
He said that the Daleep was taken to Military Hospital, Satwari, where he breathed his last. “After postmortem, the body was handed over to Jawan’s legal heirs for last rites”, the spokesman said, adding, Nagrota police has initiated inquest proceedings in the case.
