UDHAMPUR, Jan 30: A Territorial Army jawan committed suicide by consuming poison, here today.
The deceased was identified as Balwant Singh (36), son of Ishwar Singh of Thathri Doda, presently putting up at Bal Nagar Jib, Udhampur.
He consumed some poisons substance under mysterious circumstances and was found lying unconscious near village Lanu. Family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Tekri Police registered the case and started investigations.
