Army holds seminar for students

Srinagar, Mar 17: Army today said a career orientation seminar was organizsd by it at Government High School Hakbora in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district to provide a better prospective to the students.
A defence spokesman said in the seminar, students were enlightened about various career options available to them through interactive sessions. “Concept of vocational courses that could supplement their studies for a better job opportunity was covered in the presentation.
“The inquisitive students were also explained about talent based, offbeat careers and how to pursue the same. They were also guided on how to select and prepare for a particular stream based on their interest and aptitude,” he said.
The school principal, Abdul Rehman Lone, who helped in conducting the seminar, expressed his confidence that such positive initiatives would go a long way in helping shape futures of the local youth, the defence spokesman added.
