ANANTNAG, Apr 18: Army today conducted an interschool debate competition at Aishmuqam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District. Nearly eight schools across the District participated in the Competition and made it a huge success, the army said.
A spokesperson of the Army said eight schools across the Anantnag District participated in the Competition and was a huge success, “The event saw huge success amidst the ongoing turmoil in the Valley. The competition was conducted in juniors and seniors categories”, he said.
He further said the competition was followed by distribution of prizes to the winners: “Relevant books were gifted to the participants to inculcate the habit of reading in them and assisting them in personality development”, he said.
Meanwhile, in the end, the principal of Army Goodwill School Aishmuqam thanked the participants.
