SRINAGAR, Mar18: Army conducted a flag-in ceremony of ‘Capacity Building Tour’ to Delhi for students of Shopian and Kulgam district at Behibagh on Saturday.
An Army spokesman said the event was attended by Commander 2 Sector and Nazeer Ahmad Laway, MP kulgam.
He said the commander addressed the students and exhorted them to channelize their experience towards building a safer and secure environment for society. He also congratulated the parents of these enriched young souls who allowed their wards to attend this tour.
“This initiative by the Army was greatly appreciated by the families present in the gathering as it was a wonderful step towards building a bright future for the youth in the region,” he said.
