Army conducts computer course for students

RAJOURI, June 6: A 20-week long basic computer course in coordination with National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) commenced at Nowshera.
The course is being organised by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion based at Jhangar under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarters based at Reasi.
The inauguration was conducted in the presence of civil and Army dignitaries. A total of 47 students belonging to various schools of Jhangar, Saryah, Bhowani, Kalsian, Lam, Laroka and adjacent villages of Nowshera tehsil will be imparted basic orientation with computers, functional knowledge of computer accountancy, Tally and other job oriented softwares.
While speaking on the occasion, the officials informed the gathering that impetus has been provided towards Information technology and training during the course to give much needed push to the ever growing aspirations and needs of the locals to join the main stream.
