JAMMU, Jan 10: Army has announced financial assistance of Rs. One lakh each to the kin of three labourers killed and Rs. Twenty five thousand to the injured in the dastardly attack by Pakistan sponsored terrorists on the unarmed civilian persons at the GREF camp at Battal in Akhnoor Sector.
Heavily armed terrorists had attacked the Battal GREF camp, in the wee hours of 9 January 2017. The Chief of Army Staff while strongly condemning the cowardly terror attack, assured that the Pakistan sponsored terrorists would not be permitted to disturb the peace and tranquility in J&K. He extended condolences on behalf of the Army to the victims and their families.
