JAMMU, Mar 10: Army today recovered a consignment of arms, ammunition and explosive devices during a search operation at Russowali Nullah near Saldhar in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district.
Troops of 61 Rashtriya Rifles made the recoveries, official sources said.
Recoveries included one AK-47 rifle with two magazines and 66 rounds, one pistol with one magazine and 61 rounds, one Chinese anti-personnel mine, five assorted grenades, three UBGL grenades, 93 Pika rounds and some other items.
After effecting the recoveries, troops conducted a search operation in the area. However, no arrests were made from the spot.
The consignment reportedly belonged to former militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) or Hizbul Mujahideen militants.
