Jammu, Oct 13 : Army Public School, Nagrota organised the Northern Command-Inter Region English and Hindi Debate Competition, here today.
APS Nagrota won the overall winner’s trophy for the debate in English. The best speaker for the motion in debate in English was clinched by Kartika Menon of APS Nagrota, while the Best speaker against the motion was won by Rithika Suresh of APS Nagrota. Ayush Sharma of APS Nagrota bagged the Best interjector prize.
The Overall winner’s trophy for the debate in Hindi was also bagged by APS Nagrota. The Best Speaker for the motif was won by Sushmita Roy of APS Nagrota and the Best Speaker against the motion by Shivi, of APS Udhampur. The best interjector went to Akash Bhanaje of APS Nagrota.
The three winners of the debate in English will proceed for the Inter Command National Debate Competition to be held at New Delhi, in the last week of Nov 2012.
