JAMMU, Aug 12: Army Public School (APS) Kaluchak organized a three days Inter-APS Cluster-I Boys Football Championship, here.
Eight schools participated in the Championship and the participating Schools included APS Jammu Cantt, APS Damana, APS Ratnuchak, APS BD Bari, APS Miransahib , APS Samba, APS Sunjwan and APS Kaluchak.
APS Kaluchak lifted the winners’ trophy by defeating APS Samba in the summit clash.
The Competition witnessed dominant performances as well as very close and nail-biting finishes. It was head to head between the teams of APS Kaluchak and APS Samba who had qualified for the finals. The students of APS Kaluchak proved their tenacity by registering a 3-0 victory over their rivals.
The main objective of holding this Championship was to provide a platform for students to showcase their football skills.
The ambience of the football field reflected the true spirit of sportsmanship.
The winners were felicitated by the chief guest, Vijay Bakaya, senior leader National Conference.
The chief guest while honouring the players lauded their efforts for their splendid performances in the competition.
