AKHNOOR, May 11: Army Public School (APS) Akhnoor organized English and Hindi Declamation for all APS’s of Northern Command. Participating schools were APS Srinagar, APS Udhampur, APS Dhar Road, APS Nagrota, APS Akhnoor, APS Rakh Muthi.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Col John Philips alongwith Principal KCS Mehta and the students. The first position in English was bagged by Vineeqa Pandita of APS Srinagar and 2nd by Arisha of APS Akhnoor.
In Hindi, the 1st position was bagged by Tamana Manhas of APS Akhnoor and Master Sushant Bhau of APS Rakh Muthi.
Chief guest in his address appreciated the speakers for their confidence and oratory skills.
Chairman of the school, Brig Gautam Segan extended best wishes to all the participants.
