APMCC, migrant employees delegation call on Veeri, Sethi

JAMMU, Mar 2: All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) delegation called on Minister of State for Education, Culture and Tourism Priya Sethi seeking her immediate intervention in quashing the transfer orders of PM package teachers and other teachers working in Kashmir Valley.
APMCC led a strong delegation of employees and called on Sethi and sought her personal intervention in quashing the transfer orders of migrant employees who were prematurely shifted to far off places without taking into consideration their genuine concerns.
Priya Sethi listened to the delegation  and ordered the quashing of the transfer orders of the teachers working under PM’s Special Package for Migrants in Kashmir Valley as well as those of other employees of Kashmir Valley and assured the delegation that their genuine concerns would be addressed to.
The delegation along with Priya Sethi met the Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Abdul Rehman Veeri and raised some concerns of the employees regarding their security and accommodation problems as well as the future of their children who were undergoing annual examinations in Jammu.
The minister assured the delegation that their genuine concerns would be addressed and Government would hold talks with them regarding their issues. They also assured that employees would not be forced on any count before holding direct talks on various issues.
The delegation comprised of Vinod Pandit Chairman APMCC, King C Bharati, Senior journalist and National spokesperson APMCC, Sanjay Koul, President All Displaced Youth Forum, Rubin Saproo, president AMEAK, Ranjan Jotshi, Vinod Tickoo, Rakesh Pandita, Anil Pandita, Ajay Bhat, Sunil Pandit, Romi Koul, Shashi, Anita, Bindu, Lali, Shalu, Sarla, Nimmi and scores of other employees.
