AOL conducts ‘Yes Plus’ at GDC Kathua

KATHUA, Jan 24: After the overwhelming response and enormous positive feedbacks for the introductory talks of Art of Living Foundation Jammu Chapter conducted Yes Plus (Youth Empowerment Skills Workshop “Yes Plus” at Government Degree College here, in which 90 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.
Four days 15 hours committed sessions with interactive lectures on examination and stress management were key features.
The speaker of initial sessions, Bhanu Sharma while conducting Yes Plus, happiness program and arts excel for kids focused on the state of mind of youth and how to handle emotional stress and skills required for the success of human beings.
He motivated students that better living is the blessed one. According to him success in life depends upon one’s attitude and enthusiasm. He also stressed upon importance of concentration in studies.
With the help of certain games, he checked the concentration level of students.
In subsequent sessions Anshuman Khuller and Bhagwati Prashd AOL Faculty interacted with the students and informed them about soft skills and domain knowledge. They made them aware of the importance of these two skills in becoming a successful person. They also stressed that it is important to be happy before rather than being successful.
AK Katyal, Shelja Jasrotia and Sushant Sharma were main organizers from Art of Living Kathua Chapter, who coordinated the program in two batches.
Other senior faculty who visited the workshop was Ravinder kumar Mansotra District Coordinator for Teachers AOL.
Students took a pledge to spread Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar message of patriotism and optimism which he gave to one lakh youth gathered to see him in Kota last week.
