Another Pak shrine attacked

The ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on a “Shiite gathering” at the shrine of Sufi Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan town, some 200 kms northeast of Karachi. The attack on people comes to the shrine left 100 dead and dozens wounded included women and children.
This is not the first attack on a Sufi shrine in Pakistan. Attacks on shrines and shrine goers have been happening in Pakistan ever since Wahhabiism established sway over Pakistan society, which is mostly of Sunni Hanafi sect. Incidentally, the massacres in the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Karachi, the maximum number of the killed is of Shia’ sect. It has to be remembered that members of Shia sect in Pakistan are passing a miserable period because fanatical and aggressive organizations in Pakistan bear intrinsic animosity with the Shia.  Lashkar-e Jhangvi was created only to suppress the Shias, subject them to charges of bomb blasts and unleashing of all atrocities against them as one unwanted community.
But Shahbaz Qalandar shrine was not targeted because the Shia people were gathered together in a large number and maximum casualties would be committed. The fundamental question is that Islamic radicals, be that of PTT, or Taliban or ISIS of Syria, would like to make a joint show of their strength and  destroy all signs of Sufi Islam because it preaches unity among people of different faiths as the creation of one God. It is reported that more than 25 Sufi shrines and mausoleums have been destroyed or vandalized during past three decades in Pakistan.
Pakistan and its ISI are the originators of state terrorism. With the passage to time, Pakistani army decided to use the jihadis as the vanguard of its armed forces. Pakistan is clandestinely sending suicide squads to Kashmir in the hope that they will let lose killing and sabotaging so as to derail the Government and create complete disorder in Kashmir. The Wahhabis in Kashmir had also, at one time tried to torch and destroy some Shia shrines in Kashmir but this was stopped. Pakistan sowed the wind and must reap the whirlwind. The Frankenstein which Pakistan created is now staring direct in her eyes. Thus terrorism has come home to roost in Pakistan.
