UDHAMPUR, Aug 2: Kalika Chakundi Baba Chounsar Committee, Kud in tehsil Chenani, is organizing annual Charri Yatra of Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar on August 07, 2017.
This was disclosed in a meeting convened under the chairmanship of chairman Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Committee, Pujari Bishan Dass.
The Committee is starting annual Charri Yatra of Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Yatra in the morning on August 07, 2017 with traditional fervour and gaiety. The Charri Yatra, led by Pujari Kailash Thakur, will be taken out from Karwal Nallah, Kud which after passing through various locations of the villages like Mall road, Kasar morh, Patnitop, Sanasar road, Nathatop and finally culminate at Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Mandir, Gabber (Chilla) in tehsil Batote, where rich tributes will be paid to the Baba Chounsar.
A Chowki and folk Kud dance performance will be also organized at Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Mandir which is one of the main attractions of the event.
Pujari Bishan Dass appealed to all the followers of Baba Chounsar to reach at Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Mandir for the celebration of annual function.
