Angural takes over as Grameen Bank Chairman

JAMMU, June 6:  Janak Raj Angural took over the charge of J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) as Chairman at Bank’s head office, Narwal from RK Chhibber.
He assumed the chair as 4th Chairman of J&K Grameen Bank. Prior to his joining at JKGB, he worked as Vice President of J&K Bank.
General Manager,  Romesh Vaid and staff of J&K Grameen Bank, including senior Manager, Vipin Gupta welcomed  Angural on assuming office and assured full cooperation from all cadres for the development and progress of the bank.
Addressing the staff members,  JR Angural, appreciated the role of his predecessor and highlighted their contribution towards the progress of the bank. He assured that joint efforts will be made to push the bank to new heights.
He underlined the role of JKGB for focusing on various social security schemes launched by  Prime Minister to bring each household in rural villages of J&K under the ambit of banking services. As a Central Government owned undertaking JKGB is at the forefront in meeting its social commitments and also in implementing various Govt formulated policies and schemes”, he added.
