AMCCC terms Centre’s blunders cause of Pandits exodus

JAMMU, Apr 17: All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) in a meeting here today held under the leadership of its president Desh Rattan expressed grave concern over the postponement of elections in Anantnag Lok Sabha Constituency.
The meeting said that present turmoil in Valley was due to the blunders committed by the Union Government since 1947 especially during Nehruvian period.
The meeting criticized the Election Commission for postponing the elections this time too and termed it also a great blunder.
AMCCC chairman B L Koul, Ravinder Pandita , M M Kanth while addressing the meeting said these blunders were the cause of the mass exodus of the seven lakh Pandits from Valley also. The Pandits plight increased the day Maharaja Hari Singh left the State, they added.
