JAMMU, Aug 12: A meeting of AMCCC was held today under the presidentship of AMCCC chief Desh Ratten and K.S. Bedi. vice president of the organisation.
While speaking on the occasion Deshratten said “we condemn the statement of Hamid Ansari ex. vice-president”. It is unfortunate that Mr Ansari who held such a top position as his statement has hurt the sentiments of the people.
The AMCCC said that his statement has put a question mark on our democratic setup and India’s age old composite culture and secular values.
The AMCCC said Ansari has never uttered a word on the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits who were thrown out from their homes and hearts. Being a secularist he should have openly come against the people who were responsible for the mass exodus of Pandits from Valley. Even when he was on one of the top posts of the country he never talked about the plight of these people languishing in relief camps at various places out side Valley who have been banished to resettle in Kashmir, the meeting added.
