JAMMU Jan 14: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today inaugurated tube well pumping machinery at TRT Nagrota installed at the cost of Rs 11 Lakh which was provided from the CDF of the MLC.
Ambardar was accompanied by Chnad Jee Bhat president BJP Kashmir displaced district P L Dhar general secretary KDD, Sunil Bhat of Tika Lal Taploo Mandal scores of party workers and senior officials of the PHE Flood Control and Irrigation Department.
While speaking on the occasion, Ambardar said that this was a long pending demand of the residents of the Nagrota camp which houses close to four hundred families and the irony was that there no supply of fresh and safe drinking water from last ten years since the families were shifted to this camp. However with the installation of this tube well close to one dozen new connections have been installed at different places in the entire camp which will enable the residents to have supply of safe and fresh drinking water as displaced community has every right to live a dignified life, he added.
