POONCH, Apr 2: I will always love to bestow tips to Jammu and Kashmir budding cricketers, who are talented but lack exposure. It is delight to watch cricketing euphoria in nooks and corners of the State.      This was expressed by iconic International Cricketer cum Coach, Rahul Dravid while interacting with media persons and delivering a motivational lecture to the kids drawn from prominent schools of Poonch and adjoining areas at Natu Auditorium, here today.
Brig AS Pandarkar, SSP Poonch Rajeev Pandey and a large number of dignitaries including judges, advocates and senior citizens were part of the gathering.
Mr Dravid said that during his visit to Budha Amarnath and Mandi yesterday, he saw big number of youngsters busy in playing cricket at tumpy, rough and bumpy surfaces and showing their skills, adding that the youth in J&K have immense sporting talent but need exposure to hone it.
“Hard work and dedication is the ‘matra’ to succeed in every field, not to talk of cricket only,” Dravid said.
He said that any Ranji Trophy player or other young cricketers can come to him at Bengaluru, Mumbai or Nagpur for receiving cricketing tips, adding that he will always be at their service.
