JAMMU, Oct 21: All Ladakh Muslim Students’ Association, Jammu (ALMSAJ) organized a blood donation camp in association with Anjuman-e-Imamia here at Karbala complex, near DC office.
The camp was supported and undertaken with help of Blood Bank, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
Akhbar Khan, president, All Ladakh Muslim Students’ Association, along with more than 60 students donated blood. Others who were present and donated blood include Ahmed Ali, president, All Ladakh Students’ Welfare Association, Jammu, Arif, president, Students Association of Leh, Jammu Rawoof Mir, chief organizer, ALMSAJ and Prof Shugat Ali, secretary, Anjuman-e-Imamia, Jammu.
The team from Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar was led by Dr Arun Sharma, Deputy Medical Superintendent and included Blood Bank Officer, Dr Arifa, Incharge, Blood Bank, Gurdeep Singh, Manoj, Blood Bank Technician, Shubam Sharma, Sumit Maini, Shubam Kumar and Megha.
