JAMMU, May 20: Akhnoor Zone girls overpowered their rivals and lifted the title trophies in under-14 and under-17 Kho-Kho, organised during Inter School District Level Tournament by Department of Youth Services and Sports at Government Boys High School Jammu Cantt and MA Stadium, here.
In under-14 Kabaddi, Akhnoor Zone beat RS Pura by 17 points in the summit clash, whereas in under-17 category, RSPura Zone defeated Jammu Zone by 1 point.
In under-17 Volleyball final, Gandhi Nagar Zone beat Satwari Zone by 2-0 sets.
In under-14 Kho-Kho, Akhnoor Zone trounced Marh Zone in the final match, whereas in under-17 category, Akhnoor Zone trounced Bhalwal Zone in the summit clash.
The matches were officiated by the panel of experts from the Department of Youth Services of Sports.
On the closing ceremony, Chanchal Kour DYSSO Jammu distributed trophies to the winners and runner ups of the tournaments in presence of all the Zonal Physical Education Officers of District Jammu and Headmaster, Government Boys High School Jammu Cantt.
