KATRA, Nov 23: AIU Mains defeated Trikuta Hostel in the match of Inter Hostel Cricket Tournament of SMVD University played in Shrine Board Sports Complex, here today.
AIU Mains XI after wining toss elected to bat first and scored 126 runs, with Vikas and Aarush scoring 30 and 32 runs respectively.
While chasing the target, Trikuta Hostel XI bundled out for 70 runs. Shivam of AIU took 4 wickets, while Anurag scored 20 runs for Trikuta XI.
Ashok Kumar, Director Sports SMVDSB introduced with the players of both the teams on the occasion.
The teams observed 2 minutes silence for the departed souls who died of helicopter crash at Katra today.
