UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: An Air Force jawan allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death at Air Force Station here today, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Sachin Kumar Singh (30), son of Parbat Singh, a resident of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
After conducting autopsy at District Hospital, the body has been handed over to officials of Air Force for further handing over the body to the family of the deceased.
Inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC has been initiated by the Udhampur Police.
