Air Asia to increase flight frequencies from Tiruchirappalli

CHENNAI, Apr 13:  Low-cost carrier Air Asia has proposed to increase its flight frequencies from Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu to Kuala Lumpur.
It would now run 14 flights every week during the forthcoming summer season, effective May 26.
Currently, Air Asia offers services between the two destinations 11 times a week, a company statement said.
“The additional flight frequencies, available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, is open for booking with promotional all-in fares from Rs 3,000 (for one way). Bookings open from April 17 for travel period from May 26 to September 30, 2013”, the statement added.
The Kuala Lumpur–Tiruchirapalli additional flight frequencies would benefit Indian nationals working and living in Malaysia and across the region, the release added. (PTI)
