AICC leaders review Cong functioning in J&K

JAMMU, Aug 12:  Senior AICC  leader  Madhusudhan Mistri ( MP)  along with  Hussain Dalwai (MP) visited Jammu and Srinagar today and reviewed the functioning of the party in the State and also current political situation here.
A meeting of senior PCC leaders and functionaries was held here today in which  Madhusudan Mistri was chief guest which was attended by Hussain Dalwai (MP) presided over by PCC  chief  GA Mir.
Besides senior functionaries of PCC, MLAs/MLCs, ex-legislators, contesting candidates,  DCC presidents, frontal leaders and DROs also attended.   Mistri,  who is member CEC of the  party took review of the organizational affairs, membership and measures to strengthen the party at the booth levels.
The PCC leaders briefed the visiting leaders about the organizational activities in the State and the overall situation in the State and the outcome of membership up to booth levels, blocks and constituencies and expressed satisfaction that the party has got overwhelming response of workers and people in the State.
Mistri briefed the leaders about the need to strengthen the organization from booth levels with dedicated and loyal workers to counter the false propaganda of BJP and other parties. He said that AICC  vice president  Rahul Gandhi is very keen to strengthen the party and grass root levels with dedicated and loyal party workers to be involved in the ongoing process at all levels.
He cautioned about the challenges before party about the attempt to mislead the people by falsehood, for which strong organization at grass root level is the need of the party.  Besides APRO Deepak Rathode, senior vice president Sham Lal Sharma, Tara Cand,  vice presidents Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, Kanta Bhan, Ravinder Sharma, MLAs/MLCs, general secretaries, contesting candidates and frontal heads were also present in the meeting.
